Isn't it a concern when removing the caseback with the ball that the medallion might be loosened?

We were compelled to put both of our cats down (14 & 18 years old) within the last 60 days. Absolutely heartbreaking. I fully empathize HB.

I have bought many homage watches not because they ape a leading Swiss brand but because they do look impressive. I don't agree with many of your views. Homage watches from most manufacturers, are made with good quality cases and movements which range from Miyota to Seiko's tried and trusted units. I have had homage watches for many years without a problem. The originals (Swiss) are ridiculously priced, whichever way you look at it. Not to mention that they rip you off for periodic service. And a few hold their value. One mustn't buy fake replicas but homages are really acceptable.

I've never been a huge fan of skeleton movements as I found on many watches (esp inexpensive Chinese "luxury" watches) it makes things less clear to use as a time piece. But in this case, it's not too bad looking... Very complicated overall though....Perhaps a little too complicated. But extremely different - I'll give them credit for being different. Now if they actually took time and really concentrated on polishing up that movement so it appears less... Raw and unrefined... Put a little more care into keeping things clean and properly lubricated. Well, it is less refined - but they could have gone so much further (even though it would increase the costs, but the advantage is that they likely would have been able to sell it for increased costs and possibly even make the profit margin higher).

Word of caution, I believe the AliExpress carrier is stealing packages. I never got mine. The carrier reported the package was signed for. LOL. AliExpress refuse to make this right. So much for their delivery guarantee.

Homage watches don't bother me, counterfeits do. There are a buttload of Swiss brands which are homages, even Rolex Homages their watches and calls them Tudors.

How is the white paint called?

Come on admit it. 🤭 For less than $30 it's a surprisingly good movement. I have the same movement in a watch. It's surprisingly accurate. I don't trust the Dust Cover of a "Case" and avoid weather, water and humidity. I think they dip the assembled movements in "one dip" and call it good for the go, on lubrication. I'm pretty sure your service to the watch greatly improved it's life and performance. 🫡 Thanks for the overview. Good Fortunes and Great Successes 🤝

It's amazing that people would go to all that trouble to make an automatic watch and it's going for $17.00 .. you have to wonder if they were to make a digital watch they can make a super good digital watch for all the trouble that go to make this watch , digital watches are are 99.999 4% accurate

You guys must really smash up your crystals. I have never had to use sandpaper, only poly watch and a cloth and my Vostoks crystals look brand new each time.

Admirable how he puts the clock back together and gets it running again! For me, even wall clocks are a case for the trash can after a simple battery change :)

These little arms is magic lever. Invented by Seiko and in production since 1959.

They simply took the watch for an oil change at their local garage. Seriously, perhaps they tried to oil fill it like someone would a quartz.

Bought these just to practice disassemble a mechanical watch and later assembled it. Killed one, the other one never runs right to begin with, but I made it worse. And had some success on the third one. I mean if you'e interested in watch making, its a good start. From what I learned, I repaired my mom's wedding watch and she love it. Its worth all the headache seeing my mom so excited on wearing that watch again. 😊😊

This is a $10 watch, for $29.99 it's very overpriced.
